North Beach Blues all round athlete Taylor Watson (pictured above) has won a gold medal in the U15 Girls high jump completion with a clearence of 1.50m at the WA Athletics Stadium on the weekend. She followed up the performance with a silver medal in the 90m hurdles (14.64sec, +2.7 wind) and a bronze medal in the triple jump (10.13m, +2.9). Taylor also placed 4th in the long jump with a leap of 4.65m (+1.8) and 7th in the 100m with a time of 13.47sec.
Fellow Blue Adrian Biemmi has won a silver medal in the U14 Boys shot put with a distance of 12.42m, plus a bronze in the 400m with a time of 59.45sec. He also finished strong to get 6th in the 200m with 26.58sec (+1.8), and 8th in the 100m with a time of 13.20sec (+3.6).
Coming off a recent minor leg injury Abigail Dargan (above) won a silver medal in the U14 Girls triple jump with a leap of 10.49m. She also finished 4th in the high jump (1.45m) and 80m hurdles (13.66sec, +3.6). She placed 6th in the long jump with a distance of 4.65m (+1.5).
In other Blues results Ella Italiano-Schmidt (above left) has placed 4th in the U15 Girls 200m with a time of 27.06sec and 6th in the 100m with 13.22 (+3.4). Junior Captain Paige Gavranich (below in blue) finished 4th in the U16 Girls 200m with a time of 27.28 (+0.9) and 7th in the 100m with 13.45sec (+0.6). In the U14 Boys division Blues speedster Sam King finished 4th in the triple jump with a leap of 10.48m and 6th in the 400m with a time of 1.02.32sec. Frazer Fullerton also placed 9th in the U15 Boys 800m with a time of 2.24.18sec.
